10 Secrets of Love

The Power Of Thought -

Love begins with our thoughts. We become what we think about. Loving thoughts create loving experiences and loving relationships. Affirmations can change our beliefs and thoughts about others and ourselves. If we want to love someone, we need to consider their needs and desires. Thinking about your ideal partner will help you recognize her when you meet her.

The Power Of Respect -

You cannot love anyone or anything unless you first respect them. The first person you need to respect is yourself. To begin to gain self-respect asks yourself, "What do I respect about myself?" To gain respect for others, even those you may dislike, ask yourself "What do I respect about them?"

The Power Of Giving -

If you want to receive love, all you have to do is give it! The more love you give, the more you will receive. To love is to give of yourself freely and unconditionally. Practice random acts of kindness. Before committing to a relationship ask not what the other person will be able to give to you, but rather what will you be able to give them. The secret formula of a happy, lifelong, loving relationship is to always focus on what you can give instead of what you can take.

The Power Of Friendship -

To find a true love, you must first find a true friend. Love does not consist of gazing into each other's eyes, but rather looking outward together in the same direction. To love someone completely you must love them for who they are, not what they look like. Friendship is the soil through which love's seeds grow. If you want to bring love into a relationship, you must first bring friendship.

The Power Of Touch -

Touch is one of the most powerful expressions of love, breaking down barriers and bonding relationships. Touch changes our physical and emotional states and makes us more receptive to love.

The Power Of Letting Go -

If you love something, let it free. If it comes back to you it's yours, if it doesn't, it never was. Even in a loving relationship, people need their own space. If we want to learn to love, we must first learn to forgive and let go of past hurts and grievances. Love means letting go of our fears, prejudices, egos and conditions. "Today I let go of all my fears, the past has no power over me - today is the beginning of a new life."

The Power Of Communication -

When we learn to communicate openly and honestly, life changes. To love someone is to communicate with them. Let the people you love know that you love them and appreciate them. Never be afraid to say those three magic words: "I Love you." Never let an opportunity pass to praise someone. Always leave someone you love with a loving word - it could be the last time you see them. If you were about to die but could make telephone calls to the people you loved, who would you call, what would you say and.. Why are you waiting?

The Power Of Commitment -

If you want to have love in abundance, you must be committed to it, and that commitment will be reflected in your thoughts and actions. Commitment is the true test of love. If you want to have loving relationships, you must be committed to loving relationships. When you are committed to someone or something, quitting is never an option. Commitment distinguishes a fragile relationship from a strong one.

The Power Of Passion -

Passion ignites love and keeps it alive. Lasting passion does not come through physical attraction alone; it comes from deep commitment, enthusiasm, interest and excitement. Passion can be recreated by recreating past experiences when you felt passionate. Spontaneity and surprises produce passion. The essence of love and happiness are the same; all we need to do is to live each day with passion.

The Power Of Trust -

Trust is essential in all loving relationships. Without it one person becomes suspicious, anxious and fearful and the other person feels wrapped and emotionally suffocated. You cannot love someone completely unless you trust them completely. Act as if your relationship with the person you love will never end. One of the ways you can tell whether a person is right for you is to ask yourself, "Do I trust them completely and unreservedly? " If the answer is "no", think carefully before making a commitment.

Little Love [touching story]

What Love is?

The story begins like this...

'How long will you be poring over that newspaper? Will you come here right away and make your darling daughter eat her food?'

I tossed the paper away and rushed to the scene. My only daughter Sindu looked frightened. Tears were welling up in her eyes. In front of her was a bowl filled to its brim with Curd Rice.

Sindu is a nice child, quite intelligent for her age. She has just turned eight. She particularly detested Curd Rice. My mother and my wife are orthodox, and believe firmly in the 'cooling effects' of Curd Rice!

I cleared my throat, and picked up the bowl. "Sindu, darling, why don't you take a few mouthful of this Curd Rice? Just for Dad's sake, dear. And, if you don't, your Mom will shout at me.'

I could sense my wife's scowl behind my back. Sindu softened a bit, and wiped her tears with the back of her hands. 'OK, Dad. I will eat - not just a few mouthfuls, but the whole lot of this. But, you should...' Sindu hesitated. 'Dad, if I eat this entire Curd Rice, will you give me whatever I ask for?'

'Oh sure, darling'.

'Promise?'

'Promise'. I covered the pink soft hand extended by my daughter with mine, and clinched the deal.

'Ask Mom also to give a similar promise', my daughter insisted. My wife slapped her hand on sindu's, muttering 'Promise', without any emotion.

Now I became a bit anxious. 'Sindumma, you shouldn't insist on getting a computer or any such expensive items. Dad does not have that kind of money right now. OK?'

'No, Dad. I do not want anything expensive'. Slowly and painfully, she finished eating the whole quantity. I was silently angry with my wife and my mother for forcing my child eat something that she detested.

After the ordeal was through, Sindu came to me with her eyes wide with expectation. All our attention was on her. 'Dad, I want to have my head shaved off, this Sunday!' was her demand!

'Atrocious!' shouted my wife, 'a girl child having her head shaved off? Impossible!'.

'Never in our family!' my mother rasped. 'She has been watching too much of television. Our culture is getting totally spoiled with these TV programs!'

'Sindumma, why don't you ask for something else? We will be sad seeing you with a clean-shaven head.'

'No, Dad. I do not want anything else', Sindu said with finality.

'Please, Sindu, why don't you try to understand our feelings?' I tried to plead with her.

'Dad, you saw how difficult it was for me to eat that Curd Rice'. Sindu was in tears. 'And you promised to grant me whatever I ask for. Now, you are going back on your words. Was it not you who told me the story of King Harishchandra, and its moral that we should honour our promises no matter what?'

It was time for me to call the shots. 'Our promise must be kept.'

'Are you out your mind?' chorused my mother and wife.

'No. If we go back on our promises, she will never learn to honour her own. Sindu, your wish will be fulfilled.'

With her head clean-shaven, Sindu had a round-face, and her eyes looked big & beautiful.

On Monday morning, I dropped her at her school. It was a sight to watch my hairless Sindu walking towards her classroom. She turned around and waved. I waved back with a smile. Just then, a boy alighted from a car, and shouted, 'Sinduja, please wait for me!'

What struck me was the hairless head of that boy. 'May be, that is the in-stuff', I thought.

'Sir, your daughter Sinduja is great indeed!' Without introducing herself, a lady got out of the car, and continued, 'That boy who is walking along with your daughter is my son Harish. He is suffering from ... leukaemia.'

She paused to muffle her sobs. 'Harish could not attend the school for the whole of the last month. He lost all his hair due to the side effects of the chemotherapy. He refused to come back to school fearing the unintentional but cruel teasing of the schoolmates. Sinduja visited him last week, and promised him that she will take care of the teasing issue. But, I never imagined she would sacrifice her lovely hair for the sake of my son! Sir, you and your wife are blessed to have such a noble soul as your daughter.'

I stood transfixed. And then, I wept. 'My little Angel, will you grant me a boon? Should there be another birth for me, will you be my mother, and teach me what Love is?'

Love vs Infatuation

- Love vs Infatuation -

What, then, is the elusive thing called "Love" that everyone so desperately needs? Sometimes, we sort of like this girl because she is beautiful? Or the girl likes him because he is handsome? But this kind of "Cinderella Syndrome" when the girl is waiting on her Prince Charming, is not real love. It is better known as "Infatuation", and there is a vast difference between it and real love. Enumerated here below are the differences.

Find out if you are really in love and not just infatuated.

Infatuation -

Infatuation is a feeling; real love involves a commitment also. Infatuation is just love of emotion. Real love though, is love of devotion. Only the emotions are affected in infatuation, but in real love both the Emotions and the Will are involved. Next, a person "fall into" infatuation, but "grows into" real love. Gentlemen, have you ever seen a girl who was so beautiful that you thought you'd faint? This is infatuation. It is based totally on physical attraction; Often you don't know much in-depth about the person you so-called love. Thus infatuation is mostly biological.

Also remember, never tell a woman you love her, unless you are willing to marry her. Then, infatuation is basically selfish where real love is basically selfless. Infatuation is more interested in satisfying yourself and your "feelings" than it is in the other person.

Real love is primarily interested in the other person. It seeks to give instead of get. Love unselfishly seeks the highest good for the other person.

Lastly, infatuation is weakened by time and separation where real love is strengthened by time and separation. This does not mean that there will be no pain in separation. On the contrary, there is great pain in separation if you are truly in love.

Love - Now you understand what is infatuation, let us now go on to discuss about Love.

  1. Love is Patient -
The word translated "patient" means to wait patiently for the fulfillment of expectations. When you have difficulty dating this girl and she does not want to come out of her shell, if you truly love her, you will not complain and blame her, you must look at the situation from her point of view – maybe she is having some problems which prevented her from coming out. You must react to it with patience and understanding. Have you ever met someone you liked so much that you wanted to push the relationship and make it progress faster? Sure you have! Love, however, Love is willing to give the relationship time to grow at a natural pace. It does not push but is willing to wait for the relationship to grow at a rate that is satisfactory to both parties.

  2. Love is Kind -
Love seeks to encourage and build up on others. It respects the feelings and emotions of others. It finds its greatest satisfaction in making others happy, i.e. Compliment one another, magnify the other's strength, Listen to one another. Pay close attention to what each of you has to say and make each other feel that what each says is important, etc.

  3. Love is not Jealous -
Jealousy usually indicates an insecure and immature heart. Love wants the best for others, but jealousy is possessive. Jealous is reflected in the childish statement, "If he is going to talk to her, then he can just forget about me!" Often, one person wants to totally possess the other and to restrict her relationships with others.

  4. Love is not to Brag -
Love is not a windbag and is not anxious to impress. Often, a guy will brag to a girl, trying to impress her so that she will like him. A truly great person, however, does not need to exalt himself. Others will exalt him.

  5. Love is not Arrogant -
Love is not conceited, boastful, cocky or stuck up. Love, instead, is humble and has a servant attitude . Sometimes, a guy may come across to a girl with an "I can take you or leave you" attitude. His demeanor implies, "You ought to be thankful that somebody as neat as me is dating you". Of course this is not love.

  6. Love always Covers -
This word cover means to pass over in silence, to keep confidential. Love is patient with faults of others. It doesn't criticize or broadcast to the world the faults of others. Love is present even when it knows the other is not perfect.

  7. Love always Perseveres -
Love always stands its ground and holds out . It will outlast anything. It will even love on the face of unreturned love. Real love will last through all sorts of trials, tribulations and stresses.

  8. Love is not Provoked -
This means that love has a long fuse. It does not become irritated and angry. It is not easily offended. Love does not seek its own. This is the heart of love. Love is other-centered not self-centered. Love says, "I love you, I want to give you." Selfishness says, "I love you, I want you!"

  9. Love does not act Unbecomingly -
This means that love does not behave disgracefully, dishonorably, or indecently. It does not embarrass others by its actions. It is characterized by tact and sensitivity. This also means that love should have good manners. Be sure to do little things like opening doors for your girl or offering her your arm when you walk together.

  10. Love is Forgiving -
Lastly, this is a MUST for a successful love story. If a guy is not willing to forgive and forget when his girlfriend is only an hour late, he is not exhibiting love. Love doesn't hold grudges when it has been wronged. It doesn't remain resentful.

Love is not Possessive

wondor.blogspot.com
- Love is not possessive -
  • A truly creative person is one who breathes love every moment of his life.
  • By love I mean a sensitive heart and not a sentimental heart.
  • A sensitive heart experiences 'what is' with awe; a sentimental person reacts to 'what is'

Love is the only savior in this world. Love unites and hate divides.
Society has witnessed life based on likes and dislikes, on greed and hate and hence loveless lives. From the foundation of love, your likes and dislikes will become preferences, your greed will transform into a commitment to excel, and your hate will be transformed into concerns. People have preached about love but the undercurrent has been hate. A wise man has to be created with a new heart. A heart without love is on the path of destruction.

  • If your state of being is love then your struggles will also be sacred, or there will be no struggles at all.
  • If you are a lover of dogs then the tricks of the dogs become an act of joy.
  • We talk of love but we are not in a state of love.
  • We only pretend to be in love. Our pretensions become better and manipulative.
  • A deceptive front starts to build in us.
  • A deceptive and pretentious self is noisy and restless. You try to eliminate this restlessness by wrong means and then you throw the garbage of this restlessness on the other. This process makes relationships very messy.

When your state of being is love, then there is no manipulative game. You are silent and restful. This silence you shower on the partner and therefore, more than the intimacy, there is an exchange of silence. This quality of relationship is fulfilling.

  • Our love life is not love but desires masquerading as love.
  • Love makes no conditions.
  • Love never demands,
  • "Fulfill my expectations then I will love you." But most of our love life is like that.

Because of the demand, our relationships are like beggars begging from the other. If two beggars meet beggary is going to increase. In a state of love you will not be a beggar but a giver. Giving comes from love that has no conditions. The joy of giving is bigger than the petty logic of 'if' and 'but'.

When one is silent in the deepest core of one's being, love arises like a fragrance. Such love is unconditional; like the fragrance of the flower it does not create conditions regarding whom to give fragrance to and whom not to give. In this space you give love – and the person concerned is not obliged. You will feel grateful that there is someone who is receiving your love.

Conditional love sends out messages like this: “I have done so much for you, so now you should do this for me.” Or “I need your attention, your sympathy, your consent, your time, your presence, your love.” Or “I want you to live your life according to my beliefs and ideas.” “I need you to need me, and to look after me exactly the way I have in mind.” “And if you don’t do that, I will fall ill or become very unhappy.”

This kind of relationship is psychologically suffocating, and can be even physically suffocating, for the person(s) it concerns. It does not allow personal space to the other one. The path the other one has chosen for his/her life is deliberately surpassed for the sake of someone’s egocentric purposes.

Deep down hidden in the soul of the demanding and possessive person dwells a needy little child, longing for love and appreciation. Under the surface lies deep seated insecurity and fear of loss, especially of relationships. They have difficulty with experiencing self-love and self-acceptance, and the behavior they show is a great example of compensation.

The whole economics of love is that you become richer when you give love.

Love Reason [touching]

Love Doesn't need a Reason [Touching]

- Do you love me? Why? give reasons, not proof -

Lady : Why Do you like me .. ? Why Do you Love me..?
Man : I can't tell the reason. But I really like you...
Lady : You can't even tell me the reason... how can you say you like me? How can you say you love me?
Man : I really don't know the reason, but I can prove that I love you.
Lady : Proof? No! I want you to tell me the reason. My friend's boyfriend can tell her why he loves her but not you.
Man : Ok..ok Erm... because you are beautiful,
because your voice is sweet, because you are caring,
because you are loving, because you are thoughtful,
because of your smile, because of your every movements.

The lady felt very satisfied with the man's answer. Unfortunately, a few days later, the Lady met with an accident and went into the coma stage.

The Guy then placed a letter by her side, and here is the content -
  • Darling,
Because of your sweet voice that I love you...Now can you talk? No! Therefore I cannot love you.
Because of your care and concern that I like you. Now that you cannot show them, therefore I cannot love you. Because of your smile, because of your every movement that I love you...Now can you smile? Now can you move? No, therefore, I cannot love you. If love needs a reason, like now, there is no reason for me to love you anymore.
Does love need a reason? NO!
Therefore, I still love you. And love doesn't need a reason.

Relationships are hard to handle, might even seem impossible at times.

There will be many fights and many quarrels, many disagreements and many tears. The easiest thing would be to give up.But if we spent half the energy we use in fighting with each other, and spend that energy in fighting to keep the relationship strong, then that is love.

Remember, in a relationship, giving up is not the solution Disagreements, fights and quarrels will always be there. But you must always fight harder to stay together. Some fights are truly worth fighting! SMILE !

Heartbreak - 20 Solutions

Have you, at any point in your life, suffered a broken heart? Those waves of intense grief, emptiness, sadness, anger, confusion, heaviness and low self-esteem?
Depending on the kind of person you are and the situation, break-ups can be traumatic enough to affect your emotional and physical health.
They may say that no one ever died of a broken heart, but when you're suffering from one, it sure doesn't feel that way, at least initially.
Most people will tell you that you'll get over it or you'll meet someone else, but it seems easier said than done.

There are strategies that can lessen the pain. Here are 20 steps that can help -
  1. Be aware of your real intentions -
Do you want to move past the break-up. Or do you harbour hopes of getting back with your ex? Define your emotional goal. You can't move on until you've truly accepted that the relationship is over.
  2. Make a clean break -
Don't do the 'on-again-off-again' routine. It will only prolong the inevitable. Also, resist the urge to call your ex.
How do you know if you are over your ex? That's the million-dollar question. A good indication is when you no longer want to get back together with the person. Additionally, when the thought of your ex having a relationship with someone else doesn't affect you. Although you might not necessarily be 'happy' for him/her, but if you have gotten over your ex, you won't care either way.
  3. Don't get self-destructive -
Getting angry (or desperate), trying to hurt yourself or someone else, drinking or taking drugs to become numb and feel better, or locking yourself up in a dark room are not going to do anything to help your situation. These things don't actually deal with the pain, they only mask it, which only prolongs the sadness.
  4. Share your feelings -
It could be with a friend or family member. Talking is a great way to cleanse your soul and ease your tension.
  5. Cry it out -
Getting some of those raw emotions out can be a big help, so it's okay to cry as much as needed, irrespective of whether you are a a guy or a girl.
  6. Give your heart time to heal -
It takes time for sadness to go away. This depends on what caused your heartbreak, how you deal with loss, and how quickly you tend to bounce back from things. Getting over a break-up can take a couple of days to many weeks -- and sometimes even months.
  7. Keep yourself busy -
This can be difficult when you're coping with sadness and grief, but it really helps. Just make sure you busy yourself with positive activities like doing projects around the house, going on a trip, exercising, friend-time and focusing on studies or work. Don't get self destructive and at all costs avoid excesses of any kind.
  8. Watch a movie -
To distract yourself, choose a comedy that has cheered you up before. Or watch one that's guaranteed to make you sob -- you might be surprised how good that makes you feel.
  9. Take a holiday/vacation or weekend off -
Visit an old friend or go back home to your roots. A change of environment does wonders for the spirit. It recharges your batteries. It also gives you some time to think and find closure in a different setting.
  10. Surround yourself with friends -
Interacting with others will help you in resuming a normal life balance. It may open up opportunities for new friendships too. Consider dating other people, but be wary of rebound relationships.
  11. Remind yourself of your good qualities -
Often people with broken hearts blame themselves for what happened. Getting your self-esteem back on track is the key to your recovery.
  12. Focus on yourself -
You're going through a tough time, so do the things that make you feel good again. Get a new hairstyle, have a spa day, dance, or go shopping. Get lots of sleep, eat healthy foods, and exercise regularly to minimise stress and depression.
  13. Improve yourself -
This is an opportunity to make a journey into self-discovery. Discover what you want from life and go after it.
  14. Get rid of the memories -
Do your mourning and then put everything that reminds you of your ex in a box and seal it. Return it to them, throw it away, donate it to charity or ask a friend to hold on to it indefinitely. Get rid of anything that keeps you in the past, if it hurts.
  15. Learn from the break-up -
Take the positives from it, and even more importantly, learn from the negatives. There's nothing worse than dragging your negative habits along with you to future relationships, because you'll just end up with the same result until you learn from your mistakes.
  16. Get out -
Force yourself to go out even if you are feeling depressed. Go for a cup of coffee or a long walk.
  17. Move on -
People who are dealing with a break up tend to play over past events in their head ad nauseum. This behaviour is normal in the early days of a break up but it can quickly become a dangerous and defeatist coping strategy. Remember that the end is just the beginning. Visualise your future, block out the past. Pick up the pieces and go after the kind of life and relationship you deserve.
  18. Don't punish your next partner -
Judge future relationships on their own merits. Don't let paranoia from the past enter the present. If you live in the past too much, you aren't ready to be in another relationship yet. Learn to trust again. Don't let a bad experience keep you from living your life to the fullest.
  19. Consider getting professional help -
Sometimes the sadness is so deep -- or lasts so long -- that one may need extra support. For a person who isn't starting to feel better after a few weeks or who continues to feel depressed, talking to a psychologist or counsellor or psychiatrist can be very helpful.
  20. Take charge -
Find the courage to pull yourself out of this rut. Take charge of yourself and you will find that there actually is life after 'What's-His-Name' or 'What's-Her-Name'! You just need to make the decision so you can move on.

Take tiny steps each day and you will be amazed that you are starting to feel better. Lean on your friends and family, and remember, time will heal all wounds.

If its True Love

- 5 Ways to know if its True Love -

Wondering if you've just met the perfect match? Here are some guidelines to help you decide if it's true love. After several dates, you feel you've found the perfect person. This is your dream mate, the one who will stand by you through thick and thin. You're ready to tie the knot at last.

But is it love? Or is it a cheap imitation, like infatuation, lust, or even simple companionship? Here are a few things to consider as you make the ultimate life-changing decision:
  1. Do you enjoy looking at the person or talking to the person more? Both are important to a mature relationship, but if you find yourself fixated on physical appearance, attracted to your mate because of face, figure, or form, you may be taking a superficial look at your loved one. On the other hand, you don't want to be taken in by flattery or false statements. If your significant other is all talk and no action, that can be a warning sign to drop the relationship before you end up with one broken promise after another. A balance of physical and mental attraction is a healthy signal.
  2. Are you willing to wait to make the relationship work? For example, if your mate pushes you to do things you don't feel comfortable with, can you firmly say no? Will your response be handled respectfully and with patience? It goes both ways, too. Are you willing to wait on your partner to get more serious when he or she is ready, or are you demanding more interaction now? Can you wait to marry until the other person finishes school or are you pushing to live together first? Patience is an important virtue associated with successful, long-term relationships.
  3. Do you support each other by anticipating and meeting needs? For example, if you need to work extra right now to pay off debt before getting married, does your mate understand that the situation is temporary and willingly wait for you to put in the extra hours at your job, rather than complain about your absence? If the person has a list of errands to run before the two of you can get together, do you offer to help?
  4. Are you friends? Companionship lasts much longer than ardor, generally speaking. People in their 70's, 80's, and 90's may lose some of their physical spontaneity, but they maintain a quest for fun and a shared life until the end. Do you laugh together? Enjoy similar activities? Share each other with friends and family? Or do you expect your perfect mate to spend all free time with you exclusively?
  5. Do you want what's best for this person, or do you want what this person can do to help you? For example, if your mate has the chance to get a wonderful job in another city, are you willing to pull up stakes and move, or will you expect the job opportunity to get tossed aside for you? Love means putting the other person's needs ahead of your own, even when that involves sacrifice. While blind agreement to any difference of opinion is unrealistic and unreasonable, a thoughtful discussion of what is better for each of you individually as well as both of you as a couple needs to take place. Loving another person involves self-sacrifice and compromise. If you are attracted to someone for whom you are unwilling to be patient and to share all parts of your life, you may have a lot of work to do or disappointment to deal with after the wedding. Take time now to assess your relationship with these and other factors to see if you can make a life that could last fifty years or more with the person of your dreams. Because when you wake up, your mate will still be there.

Love vs. Like

Difference between SomeOne u Love & SomeOne u Like

  • In front of the person u love, your heart beats faster.
But in front of the person u like, u get happy.
  • In front of a person u love, winter seems like a spring.
But in front of a person u like, winter is just a beautiful winter.
  • If u look into the eyes of the one u love, u blush.
But if u look into the eyes of the one u like, u smile.
  • In front of a person u love, u can't say anything on your mind.
But in front of a person u like, u can.
  • In front of the one u love, u tend to get shy.
But in front of the one u like, u can show your own self.
  • You can't look straight into the eyes of the one u love.
But u can always smile into the eyes of the one u like.
  • When the one u love is crying, u cry with him.
But when the one u like is crying, u end up comforting him.
  • The feeling of love starts from the eye.
But the feeling of liking starts from the ear.
  • So if u stop liking a person u used to like, all u need to do is close your ears.
But if u try to close your eyes, love turns into a drop of tear & remains in your heart forever.

Love Quiz

  1. You are walking to your love's house. There are two roads to get there. One is a straight path which takes you there quickly, but is very plain & boring. The other is curvy & full of wonderful sights on the way, but takes quite a while to reach your love's house.
WHICH PATH DO YOU CHOOSE? Short or Long?
  2. On the way, you see two rose bushes. One is full of white roses, the other is full of red roses. You decide to pick twenty roses for your love. (You could pick all of the same coluor or half & half or whatever combination that suits your taste.)
WHAT COLOUR COMBO DO YOU CHOOSE?
  3. You finally get to your love's house. You ring the bell & a family member answers the door. You can ask the family member to please get your love, or you may get him/her yourself.
WHAT DO YOU DO? Ask or Get yourself?
  4. Now, You go up to your love's room. No one is there. You could leave the roses by the windowsill or on the bed.
WHERE DO YOU PUT THE ROSES? Window or Bed?
  5. Later it's time for bed. You & your love go to sleep in separate rooms (we're very politically correct, here). You wake up in the morning & go to your love's room to check up on him/her. You enter the room:
    IS HE/SHE AWAKE OR SLEEPING?
  6. It's time to go home now & you start to head back. You can take either road home now. The plain & boring one that gets you home faster or the curvy & sight-filled road that you can just take your time with.
WHICH ROAD DO YOU CHOOSE? Short or Long?

Now Analyze your Answers: -

QUESTION 1
The road represents your attitude towards falling in love. If you chose the short one, you fall in love quickly & easily. If you chose the long one, you take your time & do not fall in love that easily.

QUESTION 2
The number of red roses represent how much you expect to give in a relationship. The number of white roses represents how much you expect in a relationship. So, if a person chose all red with one white rose, he/she gives 90% in the relationship, but expects to receive only 10% back.

QUESTION 3
This question shows your attitude in handling relationship problems. If you asked the family member to get your love, then you are the type who wants to avoid problems. If you went to get your love yourself, then you are pretty direct & solve the problem right away.

QUESTION 4
The placement of the roses indicate how often you would like to see your love. Putting the roses on the bed means, you want to see them a lot. If you placed the roses by the window this means you don't mind seeing each other once in a while.

QUESTION 5
Finding your love asleep: You accept your love the way they are. Finding them awake means you expect them to change for you.

QUESTION 6
The short & long roads now represent how long you could stay in love. If you chose the short one, you fall out of love easily. If you chose the long one, you tend to stay in love for a long, long time.

Write Love Letter

How To Write a Love Letter

  1. Use terms of endearment or personal meaning. If the two of you use special nicknames for each other, include them in your letter. Or try out some new sweet names that suggest your loved one's characteristics or personality. Don't stop with using such terms in the greeting; mention them occasionally throughout the letter in expressions like these: "My dear Janice" (rather than "Dear Janice") "It's been a long week without my dear one..." "Your amber eyes are often in my thoughts."
  2. Reflect on the past. Mention special times the two of you shared, whether it was when you met, how you courted, conflicts you overcame, or celebrations you've shared. A common history is a hallmark of longevity and helps to bond a couple over time. You may want to remind the loved one of certain people you used to visit or events you attended together. Make your letter a bit nostalgic to rouse the reader's sentiment.
  3. Celebrate the present. Talking about current events makes them more real, even when you cannot be together to enjoy them. Describe recent times you spent together, even if they were simple things like raking leaves or sipping iced tea on the front porch. Everyday memories have a special magic of their own when shared with someone we care deeply about. Putting them into words that remain permanently etched in writing give them a memorable quality that helps to brand them in both writer and reader's memory for future reflection. Here's an example: "Do you remember last summer when we had that argument about country music while in the car? I noticed how pretty you looked, your cheeks on fire, your eyes aflame, when you spoke with such passion! I loved you then, and even more now, despite any disagreements we may have."
  4. Anticipate the future. Write about planned events or long-term goals that the two of you can share. Whether it's about saving money or going on a cruise, the very notion of working toward a mutual cause will bring the two of you closer even in writing: "I really appreciate your giving up coffee mochas to save for our Alaska cruise next year. I can tell this means a lot to you, and I can't wait for us to share this adventure together. My contribution is giving up commercial car washes; I'll wash the Chevy myself from now on. Every little bit helps!"
  5. Close with a romantic conclusion. The last words you write may well be the ones that are longest remembered. Include tender expressions of your affection, a physical caress indicated in words, and the hope of being reunited soon. The letter becomes a guarantee of your regard and a promise of continued commitment.
  6. Use attractive stationery. Get a pretty card or nice-looking paper with matching envelopes for your note. Hand-write it if possible. Keep it clean and folded neatly. Mail it promptly, so you don't forget or lose it. Writing a love letter does not have to be difficult. It just takes a few minutes of thoughtful concern to put into words the sincere feelings that lodge in your heart.
